About Nustall

What is Nustall?

Nustall is an online marketplace where independent makers across India each run their own stall, selling handmade and made-to-order work. You browse their pieces, message the maker on Live Chat, and buy directly from them.

Does Nustall have a physical shop?

No, Nustall is online only. There’s no shop or warehouse: each maker makes and ships their own orders.

Is Nustall only for India?

Yes. Nustall is for makers and shoppers in India, prices are in rupees, and makers generally ship within India. Nustall doesn’t arrange international shipping, so if you’re outside India, ask the maker directly.

For shoppers

What can I buy on Nustall?

Handmade and made-to-order pieces such as 3D printed decor and wall art, jewellery, crochet accessories and baby wear, paper craft, toys and gifts. What’s available changes as makers add their work, so browse the shop to see what’s listed now.

Is everything on Nustall handmade?

Makers sell their own work, but not everything is made entirely by hand. Some pieces are made to order with tools like 3D printers, and some makers sell their own small-batch designs. If it matters to you, ask the maker how a piece is made. Counterfeits and branded replicas aren’t allowed.

Where can I buy handmade gifts online in India?

On Nustall you can buy gifts straight from independent makers across India. Many can personalise a piece or make it in your colours; ask them on Live Chat.

How do I buy something on Nustall?

Open the product and tap Live Chat to message the maker about it. Agree the price, delivery and how you’ll pay in the chat, then pay the maker directly. There’s no cart or checkout on Nustall.

Do I need an account?

You can browse without one. To message a maker, save pieces to your wishlist or leave a review, create a free account. You need to be 18 or over.

How do I pay?

Directly to the maker, by whatever method you both agree. Nustall doesn’t process or hold payments. Never share an OTP, UPI PIN, card details or banking password with anyone. Nustall will never ask for them.

Does Nustall add any fees?

No. The price you agree with the maker is between you and them, and nothing is added for Nustall.

Who handles delivery?

The maker. Each maker packs and ships their own orders and sets their own delivery costs and times, so ask about them in the chat before you pay. See our Shipping Policy.

How long does delivery take?

It depends on the maker and where you live. Many pieces are made after you order, so allow time for making as well as delivery. Ask the maker for a date before you pay, especially before Diwali or Christmas.

Can I send a gift straight to someone else?

Ask the maker on Live Chat. Each maker ships their own orders, so they can tell you whether they can deliver to a different address, add a note or gift-wrap it.

What about returns and refunds?

Each maker handles returns and refunds under their own terms. Because Nustall holds no money, there is no escrow or platform refund, so agree what happens if something arrives damaged or isn’t as described before you pay. If you can’t resolve a problem with the maker, our Return & Refund Policy explains your options.

Can I ask for something custom?

Just ask. Use Live Chat to ask the maker about sizes, colours, materials or personalisation, and how long it would take.

Can I order in bulk, or for a wedding or event?

Ask the maker. Many work to order, so they can tell you what quantities they can make and how long it would take. Agree the full price, delivery and timing before you pay.

How do reviews work?

Only shoppers who have messaged the maker about a piece can review it, so every review comes from someone who actually dealt with them.

Is it safe to buy from makers on Nustall?

Makers are independent businesses, so take the same care you would with any independent seller: look at the stall and its reviews, keep the conversation in Live Chat so there’s a record, prefer traceable payment methods, and be wary of deals that seem too good to be true. Our Buyer Guidelines have more tips.

How do I report a listing or a maker?

Email support@nustall.com with a link to the listing or stall and what’s wrong. You can also use the Report link on any review.

For makers

What does it cost to sell on Nustall?

Nothing. Nustall currently charges no commission, listing fee or subscription, and buyers pay you directly, so you keep everything you charge. If that ever changes, you’ll be told in advance.

Who can open a stall?

Anyone in India aged 18 or over who makes, or genuinely sells, their own work. No counterfeits, branded replicas or prohibited items.

Can I sell from outside India?

No. Stalls are for makers based in India who are 18 or over.

How do I open a stall?

Choose Sign in, then register and tick I want to open a stall. Choose your stall name carefully: it becomes your stall’s web address and can’t be changed later. Then add your logo, banner and a short description, and start listing.

How many products can I list?

Up to 40 products, each with up to three photos. Square photos (1:1) work best. You can also bring in a product’s photo and caption from one of your Instagram posts, up to 10 times.

How will I know when a shopper messages me?

You get an email the moment a shopper starts a chat about one of your pieces, and another if a message sits unread while you’re away from the site.

How do I get paid?

Directly by the buyer, by whatever method you agree in the chat. Nustall never handles the money. You’re responsible for invoices and any GST that applies to your business.

Do I need GST registration to open a stall?

That depends on your business, not on Nustall. You’re responsible for invoices and any GST that applies to you under Indian law. See the Vendor Terms.

Who handles shipping and returns?

You do, under your own terms. Make your delivery times, costs and return terms clear in your listings or in the chat.

Can I share my phone number or Instagram?

Keep phone numbers and email addresses out of your listings and stall details. You can mention your Instagram in your stall description, and once a shopper is chatting with you, you can share your number or Instagram freely.

Can I sell on Nustall if I already sell on Instagram?

Yes. You can mention your Instagram in your stall description, and you can bring in a product’s photo and caption straight from one of your Instagram posts (up to 10 times).

Can I change my stall name later?

No. Your stall name is set once, during setup, and becomes your stall’s web address. Your logo, banner, email and description can be changed any time in Stall Settings.

What happens if a buyer complains about me?

We’ll tell you about it and give you a chance to put it right. A stall is only closed over repeated complaints after a warning and a final notice that you can appeal. Illegal goods, fraud or counterfeits can lead to immediate removal. See the Vendor Terms.
